Here are the key differences between the November lockdown and March lockdown: The new rules for the lockdown in November reflect a stronger confidence in the ability of the NHS to cope with cases and a Government that has learnt from previous restrictions that were deeply unpopular with the public. This time around schools will stay open, people will be able to visit the dentist and families will still be able to attend loved one's funerals. The rules and restrictions are somewhat different to those that were announced in March.
